Omayma Moharram is a licensed Professional Engineer of Ontario and she has over 30 years of experience in the field of Telecommunications and technology. Since 2002, she worked as an independent consultant providing technical consulting services in business technology solutions and patent practice and prosecution for inventions in the fields of telecommunications, mechanical, electrical, information technology, and software engineering. Omayma spent 22 years with Nortel Networks/Bell Northern Research’s technology group as a senior Professional Engineer and a Scientist and had held various engineering and management positions at the corporation.
Omayma received her Ph.D. Degree in Systems Design Engineering and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering both from University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and her Bachelors Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt. She has been awarded 14 patents in United States of America, Canada, Europe, and Japan and has published numerous technical papers including papers published and presented in international conferences on network planning and engineering, E-business services, management and operations, and security management.
